Sunday lived up to its name when Helston's Jubilee Big Lunch enjoyed bright skies and warmth.
It was a welcome return for the sunshine, following the greyness of Saturday, and many took the opportunity to head outside for a picnic at Coronation Park.
The event, organised by Helston Town Council, was the finale to the town's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Families and friends gathered in groups on the grass and the picnic benches to enjoy food and drink they had brought, with many decorating their area with Union Jack bunting and table cloths.
Helston Town Band performed musical entertainment, playing many favourites.
The finale was compared to a mini Last Night of the Proms, including I Vow To Thee My Country, the National Anthem and of course, for Helston, the Flora Dance.
A number of people took the opportunity to carry out an impromptu dance, adding to the festive atmosphere.
