The fixtures for the 2022/23 season of the South West Peninsula League Premier West have today been unveiled allowing sides to further enhance their preparations for the upcoming campaign.
The action kicks off on the evening of Friday, August 5 as Liskeard Athletic, who finished second in the table last year, host Callington Town who at one point last season staged an impressive 11 game unbeaten run.
The Saturday 3pm kick offs on the first weekend will see Penryn, now managed by Micky Hunt travel away to Ryan Fice's St Blazey. Blazey made a big statement in their most recent acquisition of former Plymouth Argyle, Truro City, Plymouth Parkway and Tiverton Town midfielder River Allen on Wednesday.

There is no match for either Wendron or Penzance who requested for no game.
Other games on the opening weekend see Matt Hayden's Bodmin Town play Sticker at Priory park. Both of the newly promoted sides are at home for the opening day.
Bude Town will take on Newquay, whereas Mullion play last seasons fourth-placed finishers Camelford. St Dennis whose relegation was reprieved after the end of 21/22 season host Wadebridge, St Austell play Dobwalls and Launceston travel to Godolphin Atlantic.
Wendron's first match of the season will be Wednesday, August 10 when they travel to the Mount Wise stadium to play Newquay.

Important dates for the diary will include the Cornwall Senior Cup final which is currently held by newly promoted Falmouth Town. This year's final is scheduled for Monday, April 10. It is worth noting that after November 12 midweek games are put on hold for the duration of the World Cup, which will be played in Winter for the first time in Qatar.
Saturday, May 6 is the date for the Walter C Parson cup final and the following week Saturday, May 13 will be the Champions Bowl final. Venues for these games are unconfirmed.
Festive fixtures will see sides play on Boxing Day and December 27 but not the Saturday of Christmas Eve. Games forecast for New Years Eve are all scheduled for a 2pm kick off but can be brought forward if both sides agree to do so.
There is no game on New Years Day and Monday, January 2 will by reserved for Walter C Parson third round matches if they are not played earlier.
