The Royal Cornwall Show returned last week after a two-year absence due to the pandemic - and this year saw the return of Prince Charles and his wife the Duchess of Cornwall.
The event started on Thursday and ended Saturday. During the three days there were lots of things to do and see for children and adults - even with the bad weather on the Thursday.
Some of Cornwall's finest food, drinks and products were on display available to purchase from visitors. Everything from pies to cheese, cookies to cream teas - there was something for everyone.
On Friday there was a spur-of-the-moment surprise visit from Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Boris was joined by three of Cornwall's Conservative MPs - Scott Man, Cherilyn Mackrory and Derek Thomas - during his visit.
The Prime Minister spent some time at the show and was seen visiting The Farm & Country Days stand. He then took time to walk around what it had to offer.
The Farm & Country Days is an educational event held annually at the Royal Cornwall Events Centre and are specifically aimed at Cornish primary school children from year three and four to learn interactively to see how their food travels from farm to plate.
He also purchased some local food, including a pie from Penny's Pies, a local business in Manaccan, on the Lizard Peninsula.
Along with the visit from the Prime Minister, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, and The Duchess of Cornwall also attended the event. They arrived just after 12.30pm and were greeted by the crowd and members of the show.
After a chat with the crowd, the royals then entered the Cornwall Food and Drink tent. They walked around and sampled some of the Cornish produce.
The Duchess of Cornwall took a sip of some Cornish gin from Colwith Farm and said: "It packed a punch." After the food tent they went their separate ways.
His Royal Highness visited the Duchy of Cornwall exhibition which depicts aspects of work undertaken on The Duke of Cornwall’s estate. This year's display provided an introduction to some of the exciting projects underway across the Duchy of Cornwall and information about their vision of ‘Sustainable Stewardship'.
Meanwhile, Her Royal Highness visited the Dog Show and the Flower Show before, as Patron of the Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust, she visited its stand.
The royal couple then rejoined at the main ring and watched the Grand Parade of cattle, sheep and goats from the grandstands.
Throughout the three-day event there was plenty of entertainment from the ground and the sky. The RAF 'Falcons' Parachute Display Team, took to the skies, and once they were out of the plane displayed some incredible acts whilst they were in the sky.
There was also the Shetland Pony Grand National, show jumping and a display from the motocross display team Bolddog FMX.
