TWO men charged with aggravated burglary and possession of a knife have appeared at Truro Crown Court along with a woman from Falmouth charged with receiving stolen goods.
Alan Rouffignac, Jake Berry and Abbie Jade Baker appeared before Judge Simon Carr charged in connection with an aggravated burglary at a property in Truro on May 14, where children were present, in which designer clothes, Rolex style watches and jewellery were stolen as well as possession of the knife.
Both Rouffignac, aged 38, of Steamers Hill, Angarrack and Berry, aged 25, of Higher Church Street, Copperhouse, Hayle pleaded not guilty to aggravated burglary at a property in Truro on May 14 this year.
It is alleged that having entered a home in Truro as trespassers they stole various watches, clothing and jewellery and at the time had with them a knife.
Rouffignac also pleaded not guilty to having an offensive weapon, namely a knife, in Falmouth on May 16. Similarly, Berry also pleaded not guilty to having an offensive weapon, namely a knife in Falmouth on May 16 this year.
Abbie Jade Baker, aged 25, of Oakfield Road, Falmouth pleaded not guilty to handling stolen goods, after being charged that on May 17 she dishonestly received stolen goods including a Rolex style watch, gold chain and a knife, knowing or believing them to be stolen goods.
A trial date was set for September 19. Conditional bail was granted to Baker while both Rouffignac and Berry were remanded in custody.
