Road users are being advised of a road closure on an A-road between Stithians and Perranwell due to an incident in the road causing debris.
Cornwall Council is urging drivers to avoid the A393 near Ponsanooth as it is currently closed in both directions due to an road traffic collision, with tree debris in the road and damaged power cables.
The diversion has been put into place and road users are being told to try to avoid the area.
According to information supplied by traffic monitoring service INRIX: "A393 both ways closed, slow traffic due to accident between Perranwell turn off and Park Road. Trees and Power cables in the road."
Cornwall Council has also tweeted saying: "Please avoid the A393 near Ponsanooth which is currently closed due to an RTC, with tree debris in the road and damaged power cables.
"A full diversion will be in place as marked on the map below."
