New plans have been revealed for the redevelopment of a hotel with sea views in Newquay. A request for pre-application advice has been submitted to Cornwall Council for the planned redevelopment of the Glendorgal Hotel in Lusty Glaze Road.
The new proposals are for the part demolition of the hotel with the remainder of the hotel to be converted into holiday apartments. In addition the plans would see separate holiday homes also built on the site.
It comes after previous planning applications were submitted for the redevelopment of the hotel, some which included converting the entire hotel building along with further homes being built.
Under the plans the remaining hotel building would be used to provide one three-bedroom and two two-bedroom apartments along with a three-bedroom duplex unit. In addition five four-bedroom terrace-style homes would be built at the site. There are also plans for a separate detached four-bedroom home.
