Falmouth Rugby have unveiled some of their brief plans to celebrate their 150th year of continuous rugby at the club.
The celebrations get underway with the John Jackett Cup at Falmouth Cricket Club. The cricket match, in the name of John Jackett Falmouth's most famous player, will take take place on Monday, August 1 at 6pm as a start to the memorable year.
Next the unveiling of the new home kit will coincide with Falmouth's first home league game of the season in the Counties One Tribute Western West division against Tiverton on Saturday, September 10.
The schedule continues with the annual game against Penryn taking place on Boxing Day as well as clashes against Bolingery Barbarians and the Old Dunstionians late in the year before a final Gala Dinner on Saturday, July 22 2023 with guest speakers and live entertainment at the Recreation Ground.
Managed by Josh Lord the team will be hoping to have an improved season compared to last campaign where they finished second-bottom of the Tribute Western Counties League. They begin preperations for this campaign with a home pre-season friendly against Veor on Saturday, August 13.
