The last bank in Helston is due to close its doors at the start of next year.
Lloyds Bank Customers with the mobile app received an email this morning (Friday) and it is expected that this will arrive in the post for all customers shortly.
In the letter it states that Lloyds will be closing its Helston branch on January 24, 2023.

It will leave Helston with no banks and just the Post Office to carry out transactions in.
The move will come as a particular blow to customers who do not use internet banking and for those who use the branch for business banking.
The nearest Lloyds branch after January 24 will be Falmouth, a 25-minute drive away.
In the letter via the app it states: "We know you don’t use Helston branch regularly, but we wanted to let you know that we’re closing it on 24 January 2023 and we’ll automatically move your accounts to Falmouth branch.
"Your accounts won’t change in any way and you can use any of our branches - you don’t need to do anything.
"We’ve been looking at the way customers use our branches, as how people choose to do their banking has been changing for some time. Because of this, we’ve made the decision to close this branch."
It includes a guide to the nearest branches and ATMs, which indicates the last remaining town centre cash machine will also disappear.
The bank's opening hours have gradually reduced over time and it is now only possible to use the branch between 9am and 3pm, Monday to Friday, ruling out any use after school pick up or weekends for those working.
The letter states that for a "short period of time" after the branch closes Lloyds plans to have a Community Banker visit the area.
"They can offer support and guidance on the ways you can bank with us," adds Lloyds.
It says account details won’t change.
And Helston is not the only branch in this part of Cornwall to be shutting. Redruth's branch of Lloyds is also due to close, on October 26 this year.
The Packet has contacted Lloyds for statements on both closures.
