Following last night's Pink Wig Parade and party we are all set for Day 2 of Falmouth Week.

Today's action will continue the celebrations with the infamous Marching Carnival making it's way through the streets of the town from 6:30pm.

The march will leave Falmouth Rugby Club and head to Grove Place via The Moor.

The parade will turn in the road near the monument at Grove Place and then back to Church Street Car Park, with free entry for the Carnival Night in the tent. The Carnival Night will begin from 7:30pm onwards and will feature live music from Falmouth Soul Sensation. Doors open at 7pm, under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.

Yesterday saw an all-new event with the Pink Wig Parade pre party with cocktails and live music at The Greenbank Hotel and there is another newbie making it's Falmouth Week debut today with the Sundowner SUP.

SUP (Stand up Paddleboarding) takes to the water at 4:30pm on Gyllyngvase Beach. The event, hosted by Royal Cornwall Hospitals Charity in partnership with Wesup.

The event is a chance for people to take to the water to help do more for patients and hospitals. For more information contact rich.charity@nhs.net
