The Red Arrows put on a show in Falmouth last night as part of the Falmouth Week celebrations that have been going on for the past week.
The colourful display kicked off at 6pm on Wednesday, August 10 after the iconic jets departed from Exeter some 15 minutes or so previous and made their way down to Falmouth Bay.
You can watch our videos of the display at the bottom of this article.
Gyllyngvase Beach was full to the brim with onlookers awaiting the display with many also lining up along the pathways towards Swanpool and Castle beach, as well as the parks and open spaces between.
There were some who had even taken to the sea in order to view the performance, with dinghies, paddleboards and a huge variety of boats and vessels present just before the military display team's arrival.
As the Red Arrows arrived for the aerial performance, cheers were momentarily heard from the crowd before quietening down in what can only be assumed as awe at the spectacular display of precision piloting.
The display was also accompanied by an announcer, who gave the awe-filled audience a rundown of the pilots and where they would be seen, as well as brief tidbits of information about the Red Arrows in general.
The display lasted around 20 minutes and, once it was over, the Red Arrows were met with a standing ovation from the crowds lining the Falmouth coast.
