As we approach the weekend another one of the big events is taking place for Falmouth Week this evening.
- You can see the full video and pictures from the fireworks night here.
The much-anticipated firework bonanza kicks off at 10pm with the explosions taking place across Falmouth harbour.
Viewing points for the showpiece are Falmouth Harbour, Events Square, Custom House Quay, Prince of Wales Pier and the Docks Lookout Point.
The display is being staged thanks to a partnership between Falmouth Town Council and Smart Pyrotechnics.
The Falmouth Week organisers have ensured extra precautions have been put in place to prevent any fires following the dry spell and the spate of fires in the county of late. In a statement on Facebook the organisers said: "As you would expect, additional precautionary measures have been put in place to ensure a safe and successful display after the dry spell of weather we've been having."
Prior to that there is live music from tribute classics with The Bohemians and Fleetwood Bac taking to the stage at the Waterfront marquee at Church Street Car Park. Doors open at 7:30pm to see the show. Tickets can be purchased by clicking here.
Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.
There are no road closures planned for the evening.
