Coverack has welcomed back its annual show after a three-year break due to the pandemic.

Coverack Horticultural Show celebrated its 66th show this year, and more than 350 exhibits were displayed across the various sections.

Chairman Gloria Knight said: "We hadn't realised just how much the show means to the village and how much it had been missed; the show is integral to the culture, tradition, and social life of our community."

Unfortunately, many village shows and events haven't returned after the pandemic, with Gloria adding: "It was so delightful to hear people chatting and laughing. There's nothing quite like gardeners talking to other gardeners just about gardens and produce and there were so many entries from across the age groups. It seemed like nothing could stop this show from a pandemic to drought."
