A MULTI-award winning hip hop act are set to return to Falmouth for the first time since the release of their latest EP.
The Scribes will be playing at The Underland Bar in Falmouth this Saturday, September 17, and have recently signed with Stimulus Management, joining the likes of Nas, Snoop Dogg, Cardi B, and Busta Rhymes on its roster.
The performance will be the group's first show in Falmouth since completing a 20 date run of festivals this summer, including slots at the legendary Isle Of Wight Festival, Latitude Festival, Boomtown Festival and Electric Picnic in Ireland as well as at local favourites Rock Oyster Festival and Leopallooza.
The group say they have gained a huge following on the festival circuit and last week released their new EP "The Journey" on US based record label Stay Free Recordings, including a music video film aboard the SS Great Britain.
Minamus, the group's resident beatboxer said: "Can't wait to be back in Falmouth, the music scene there seems to have grown massively in the last few years, it's one of my favourite towns to play!"
Rapper Shaun said: "It's been a big year for us, we got to hop over to Ireland for Electric Picnic Festival which was huge and our last release signed with Stay Free Recordings in the US for a 7" picture vinyl release which is absolutely beautiful!
"The Underland, Chintz and Falmouth in general have quickly become one of our favourite stops on the road, the crowd is just amazing and so up for it, you can't beat the atmosphere."
Rapper Jonny said: "Festival season has been amazing this year, seeing everyone partying and getting back to normal after the previous few summers was an absolute joy to behold.
"We've been incredibly fortunate to be able to play some huge events this year, Isle Of Wight in particular was a special moment.
"Really looking forward to bringing the same vibes back to Falmouth!"
