A woman who stole children's toys from Trago Mills has also been banned from driving for nearly two years after admitting drink driving.
Kelly Marie Cowling, aged 32, whose address is given as C/O St Petroc's, City Road, Truro, Cornwall had previously admitted stealing the toys from the Falmouth store to an unknown value on July 21.
She appeared at Truro Magistrates' Court for sentencing on Thursday following the theft from the store on February 27 this year. She was fined £40.
She was also sentenced for for driving while over the drink-drive limit. She had been stopped driving a silver VW Polo at the Trafalgar Roundabout on November 23 last year and was found to be nearly three times over the drink drive limit.
Cowling was fined £40, ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £95 and Crown Prosecution Service costs of £85.
She was also disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 23 months from July 21, reduced by 23 weeks if by 11/11/2023 she satisfactorily completes a course approved by the Secretary of State, costing around £250. He licence was also endorsed.
There was no separate penalty for driving without a licence or insurance although her licence was endorsed. Her guilty pleas were taken into account for all the offences.
