Police in Cornwall are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a collision left an 83 year-old man with life-changing injuries.
A collision involving a red Hyundai I20 and a grey Citroen Picasso, on the B3252 junction with the B3251 Horning Tops, near Liskeard, at around 9.55am, were reported to police on Saturday, September 17.
Police attended to investigate the scene after an 83-year-old male passenger who was in the Hyundai sustained life changing injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Three other people also sustained minor injuries in the collision.
Anyone who has any information or dashcam footage of the collision is being urged to contact police by calling 101 quoting log number 283 of 17/09/22.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police investigating a road traffic collision on the B5352 on Saturday 17 September are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
"Officers were called to reports of a collision involving a red Hyundai I20 and a grey Citroen Picasso, on the B3252 junction with the B3251 Horning Tops, near Liskeard, at around 9.55am.
"An 83-year-old male passenger who was in the Hyundai sustained life changing injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. Three other people sustained minor injuries.
"Officers from the Roads Policing Team attended to investigate and establish the circumstances surrounding the collision.
"The road was closed for several hours while a specialist examination took place and reopened at around 3.25pm.
"The police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information or dashcam footage which may have captured either vehicle prior to the collision that could help the officers with their enquiries.
