A ROAD in Falmouth has been closed due to an electrical fault with works currently taking place to locate the source of the problem.
The fault is believed to be in Swanpool Street but Arwenack Street in Falmouth has been temporarily closed as works to locate the source of an electrical fault are taking place.
Traffic management teams are currently on site at the location.
The situation has been described as ongoing and 'fluid', with the Falmouth Town Team working to address the issue.
Richard Gates, Falmouth Town Manager, said: "There is an electrical fault in Swanpool Street but access to correct this fault is in Arwenack Street and because of this they will need to close to the main streets.
"Traffic management have just arrived and there are a digging team and jointing teams on their way to work on the fault."
The Packet will publish updates as and when they become available.
