There are reports of congestion at a roundabout in Truro after a heavy goods vehicle broke down in the area on Monday afternoon.
A lorry is reported to have broken down on the roundabout thus partially blocking the road and causing disruption in routes leading up to the roundabout which is at the beginning of the road connecting Truro to Falmouth.
There is reported to be congestion to the Playing Place turn off involving traffic coming from the direction of the Royal Cornwall Hospital.
Travel time is around 25 minutes, affecting traffic on all approaches.
The lorry is currently awaiting recovery.
Traffic monitoring service INRIX shortly before 4pm posted: "A39 Falmouth Road Northbound partially blocked, slow traffic due to broken down lorry near A390 (Arch Hill).
"Congestion to Coombe turn off and also affecting other approaches to the roundabout.
"Travel time is around 15 minutes. Affecting traffic on all approaches."
Drivers who are using the route are advised to approach with caution and allow extra time for their journey during rush hour.
