All eyes will be on the skies tonight and tomorrow evening with fireworks displays planned across the Cornwall.
The good news is that the evening on both Friday and Saturday is set to be fine according to the Met Office - although not before some heavy showers.
With some displays taking place this evening instead of the official Bonfire Night and Guy Fawkes date of November 5, a fine day is set to continue when it gets dark.
The forecast shows there could be some cloud but the chance of rain is less than 5% and wind speed is low.
Organisers of displays on Saturday will be hoping the forecast rain will finish when it is meant to, however, and not continue into the evening, with the some heavy rain predicted through the day.
There is between a 90% and 95% chance of rain from 8am through the morning, beginning heavy before turning to showers during late morning and over lunch.
It is, however, meant to dry up between 2pm and 3pm, leaving what should be a dry evening - although the ground underfoot may be a bit boggy for displays taking place in fields.
Again, the wind speed is low and people can expect a fairly mild evening for the displays.
