THIS week's Step Back in Time comes courtesy of The Museum of Cornish Life and includes a number of photographs from the museum's new finds box for miscellaneous events.

The majority of the images included this week were first published in the Helston Packet during the late 1970's.

Photographs in this week's edition include Helston Youth Club's free style jazz gymnastics, The Helston and District Dog Training Club, Helston Harvest Fair Christmas Bazaar, and the Meneage Hospital Fete in July 1977.

Also included are a photograph of Tiny the dog.

Tiny jumped over a hedge and fell 120 feet down a mine shaft.

He was rescued by Michael Semmens, but who was the lucky owner?

Remember Gus Honeybun?

The little one and their teddy bear will, but who are they? If you have any information on the child, do let us know by emailing The Packet or The Museum of Cornish Life on ryan.morwood@newsquest.co.uk and enquiries@museumofcornishlife.co.uk.
