RESIDENTS in Falmouth are being called upon to take part in a review of the town's Neighbourhood Development Plan.
Falmouth Town Councillor and Labour group leader on Cornwall Council Jayne Kirkham is hoping to collect the opinions of residents living in the town on certain aspects of the town's development and future.
The callout is aimed at those people living in the town who want to give their input into the future of Falmouth as well as those who have knowledge of certain areas of development.
Participants are asked to pick from five different groups representing areas of Falmouth's Town Neighbourhood Development Plan.
These groups are:
- Group 1 - Climate Change, Energy, Environment and Open Space
- Group 2 - Historic Environment, Town Centre and Regeneration
- Group 3 - Business, Transport and Connectivity
- Group 4 – Housing, Design and Regeneration
- Group 5 – Culture, Leisure, Health and Wellbeing
Those interested in taking part are being asked to email councillor Kirkham on: Cllr.jayne.kirkham@cornwall.gov.uk with their name, email address, phone number, the relevant group number they feel their expertise fit and an overview of what they feel they have to offer.
Jayne Kirkham said: "This is a callout for all you people who enjoy giving your input and opinions on the future of Falmouth town, and have knowledge any of the areas below, to get involved in reviewing our Town Neighbourhood Development Plan.
"Anyone with a vision for Falmouth and expertise in the areas of planning, design, town planning, environmental engineering, renewables, sport, leisure, health, well-being.
"We need you!
