A whole terrace of houses including a former guest house is to be sold at auction next week with a guide price of £1,750,000 plus.
The former Trevoil guesthouse in Avenue Road, Falmouth, along with the two other properties at 23,24 and 25 are being auctioned by Strettons on Tuesday, December 13 at 12 noon.
The guest house is thought to have closed in around 2020.
There was an attempt to sell the guest house by the same company in May but now all three properties are on the market as one lot.
The lots consists of the entire detached terrace of three properties which has been empty for some time, showing evidence of damage inside, including what appears to be a small fire.
The properties were last used as flats/hotel/hostel but with potential for hotel, residential and other uses, or redevelopment, subject to consent.
Te properties are located within a conservation area, on the north-west side of Avenue Road, about half mile from the town centre and close to Falmouth Town railway station.
Strettons director and auctioneer Andrew Brown said: “The properties are set to attract the attention of local investors and developers.
"Comprising a detached terrace of three properties on a town centre site of 0.444 acres, the properties were last used as a hostel or hotel but have the potential for residential conversion or redevelopment, subject to obtaining the necessary consents.”
Strettons’ December sale takes place on Tuesday, December 13 at 12 noon. Further information and registration is available at www.strettons.co.uk/auctions/current-catalogue/.
