A man accused of allegedly sending a fake bomb to an address in Flushing has appeared before magistrates in Wales.
Lee Moody, aged 58, from St Dogmaels in Pembrokeshire, appeared before Haverford West Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday, January 11).
He has been charged with an offence reading that on December 21, 2022 at Guildford, Surrey, he allegedly dispatched by means of post an article, namely a homemade mocked explosive device, with the intention of inducing in another a belief that the said article was likely to explode or ignite and thereby cause personal injury or damage to property.
Moody pleaded not guilty to the charge and was remanded in custody to appear at Swansea Magistrates' Court on February 10.
