It will be the last chance to see The Bully Wee Band after a three-year Covid break as they have decided to call it a day after, what will be, their last tour.
They will be appearing at Devoran Acoustic Sessions in Devoran Village Hall on Saturday, January 28.
Originally formed by Jim and John Yardley in the 70’s The Bully Wee Band disbanded in 1983 having gone through a number of band changes. The last line up being Ian Cutler, Fergus Feely, Colin Reece and Maartin Allcock.
Following a chance meeting of Ian Cutler, Fergus Feely and Colin Reece, resulting in a ‘spirted jam’ it was decided to put a three-piece Bully Wee Band back on the road in January 2004, ‘if only for the craic’.
So successful was the 2004 tour it was decided to repeat the experience, but with the addition of founder member Jim Yardley. The band has toured every January since.
Since the Bully Wee Band reformed in 2004 they have, not surprisingly, added to their extensive 45-year repertoire.
Sadly, the band decided to call it a day after this tour so make sure you don't miss out hearing them live one last time. Tickets are available from 01726 63513 / www.crbo.co.uk or in person from Truro TIC.
