Ice cool eco-artivist folk-pop duo Islya have returned with a new single Snow is a Colour.
The duo, composed of Cornwall based singer-songwriters Lizzie Freeborn and Amy Woodburn, paint a vivid crystal soundscape with their epic new single “Snow is a Colour”.
The winter-themed track was released on digital services worldwide on Friday, January 20.
“Snow is a Colour” marks the beginning of a string of new releases. ISYLA will embark on a series of tour dates from April (full dates TBA). An EP of original material will follow later in the year.
Since their debut, ISYLA’s profile has escalated on an ever-upward trajectory, featuring on BBC Introducing, Absolute Radio (Frank Skinner), Radio X (John Kennedy) and receiving critical acclaim from eco and music press around the world.
Their ever-expanding live set has seen them play the iconic Eden Project, Cornwall Folk Festival, a wall-to-wall headline at Boconnoc House Estate, London’s The Bedford and the virtual Paris-based Conscious Festival, backed by Music Declares Emergency.
