The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall visited the Dracaena Centre in Falmouth today, where they danced the hokey cokey and played each other at table tennis - with Kate hitting William on the head with a ball.

During the low key visit the community hub on Dracaena Playing Fields, the Duke and Duchess spent time in a session for local mothers and their young children.

They heard from them about how The Dracaena Centre has supported them as parents and promoted their children’s development through play and creativity.

As news of the Royal Visit spread more and more people arrived to get a glimpse of the new Prince and Princess of Wales.

Among the crowd were people who’d abandoned their job to come or one pair who literally jumped off the bus to see them after seeing the crowds gathering from the bus’s window.

Their Royal Highnesses then spoke to representatives from St Petrocs, a local, independent charity working with individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Cornwall.

Finally, visited the NHS Wellbeing Hub hosted in the Centre and hear how they are providing community based mental health and wellbeing support across the local area.

Afterwards they walked past the waiting crowd who gave them flowers and asked for selfies.

Sarah Carlyon from who lives on the Old Hill Estate in Falmouth managed to get a selfie with both Kate and Prince William.

She told the Packet: “He shook my hand and I was shaking so much. I said to him: ‘You’re Royal Highness can I take a photo’ and I then I said ‘You’re amazing’ because I didn’t know what else to say.
