Falmouth's Market on the Moor will relaunch this Saturday with an exciting line-up after a two month break.
Traders were told before Christmas by the town council that the Thursday and Saturday market would be put back to ten months a year rather than all year round which had been introduced in 2020.
Traders warned the decision would mean a loss of earnings for the regular traders who rely on the market to make a living, pay their bills and put food on the table for their families.
In a statement the town council said, historically, the main reasons for this were insufficient demand from traders and bad weather, the latter having a detrimental effect on both footfall and the state of the gazebos, making the market financially unviable during these months.

It said during the Pandemic, an exception was made to help traders get back on their feet after Covid, but it was always clear at the time that this was a temporary measure.
However the market returns this Saturday, although the Thursday market doesn't return until April as some traders are not able to make it.
Sasparella Vegan Deli + Donuts, Wilder Allotment Kitchen, Sloth and Sparrow Plant Based Kitchen will all be serving up their culinary delights.
There will also be Great Scott Hot Sauce, Ian's records, Sue and Pete's vintage threads and Kimbcassa returning with their wonderful goods.
Heavy Petal will also be joing the stalls with their array of plants.
