Helston was lit with twinkling lights on Saturday as it hosted a Lantern Parade to mark St Piran's weekend.
The parade made a return for its second year on Saturday but at a new venue.
Coronation Park and boating lake was chosen for the parade, giving plenty of space for everyone who wanted to attend.
Schools gathered in the Old Cattle Market car park, along with organisations such as the Museum of Cornish Life.
As dusk fell, the parade made its way around the boating lake, with the twinkling lights reflected in the water.
The procession was led by Helston Town Band, playing a variety of traditional Cornish songs, and finishing with a rendition of the Flora Dance - to the delight of the crowd of people watching.
The event was held to coincide with St Piran's Day weekend, and the lanterns included an engine house, Helston inventor Henry Trengrouse and St Piran himself made from willow and tissue paper.
The event was supported by the team behind Truro City of Lights.
Cornish singing group Odds 'n' Sods performed in the run up to the parade, entertaining those watching.
