Redruth welcomed back its St Piran's tradition at the weekend after three years, whilst Penzance enjoyed its annual parade in the glorious sunshine on Thursday.
For the first time in three years, Redruth welcomed the return of its St Piran's parade. The parade was led by Redruth Town Band and featured members of the public dressed in Cornish attire. The parade was also attended by Cornwall's Oss & Montol mythical extraordinaire, Penhood.
Large crowds gathered in the town for the festivities, which included the Town Market, selling sweets, crafts, jewellery, arts and food.
Meanwhile, in Penzance, the town paraded through the streets in beautiful weather, to mark the historic Cornish day.
Events began on Thursday, when Penzance provided a performance at St John's Hall, by school children from the Penwith area and community dance and music group Penzance Guizers.
Following on from Thursday's concert, The St Piran Furry took centre stage on Friday with hundreds of school children and members of the public dancing through the streets of Penzance.
