Firefighters were called to Goonhilly Downs near on The Lizard on Monday night to tackle a gorse fire with a 500 metre front.
Two major pumping appliances and two light 4x4 appliances from Mullion and St Keverne responded to this incident at around 9pm on March 6.
Crews used beater to put out the fire which extended to around half a hectare of gorseland.

A report from Cornwall Fire and Rescue centre said: "Two major pumping appliances and two light 4x4 appliances from Mullion and St Keverne responded to this incident.
"On arrival a fire with a 500 metre front was discovered. Crews used beaters to extinguish the fire. In total, approximately half a hectare was affected by fire."
