A pre-application enquiry has been submitted for a caravan park in east Cornwall to be used as a mixed use site with 108 park homes and holiday lets.
Jolly Country Parks has asked the council for its views on the plans for a “high quality” development on the site in Casey Lane, Pelynt, near Looe.
Under the plans 23 residential park homes would be located on the northern part of the site for people aged over 55 and another 85 holiday lodges would be built on the southern part. In addition a reception/amenity building would also be provided for guests.
Documents submitted to the council state that a previous planning application to build 130 homes on the site submitted in 2012 had been approved. That was due to the provision of affordable housing and employment space.
