Family have paid tribute to a young boy who died following a collision in Pool on Monday (March 13).
Harrison Palmer, 12, from Camborne, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the single-vehicle collision, which happened on the A3047 Agar Road junction with Wilson Way, Pool, near Redruth, at around 3.35pm.
The family of Harrison have paid tribute to him.
They said: “We are devastated and truly heartbroken over the loss of our beautiful boy Harrison. No words can describe our pain.
“We want to thank all of the emergency services and members of the community who did all they could.
“We are also very grateful for the love, support and condolences that we have received since.”
The family have asked for privacy as they grieve and come to terms with their loss.
Officers continue to make enquiries to establish the circumstances of the collision.
A 67-year-old man from Hayle has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by driving without due care and attention and on suspicion of driving whilst unfit. He has been released under investigation, pending further enquiries.
