The new owner of Skinner's Brewery has vowed to continue brewing its best-known beers – and is creating two new jobs to make it happen.
Indian Queens-based Goodh Brewing Co has been announced as the company taking over the Skinners' brand and beers.
The small brewery, which opened its first Taproom in Truro, will be brewing at the Newham Industrial Estate, the home of Betty Stogs and Skinner's other well known beers.
The news was confirmed on the UK Craft Beer & Beverages Jobs Facebook page under the heading ‘Betty is back!’.
The post said: “It’s not just Betty we’ll be brewing though, we will be bringing all the Skinner's much loved beers back including PennyComeQuick, Cornish Knocker, Ginger Tosser and so on.”

It goes on to advertise two jobs, adding: “But to brew great beers requires a great team and that’s why we’re on the lookout for a new production team.
“We are currently recruiting for two experienced brewers to join our team.
“Reporting into the brewing manager, the production brewer will ensure our beer is always produced to the highest quality and will cover a wide range of brewing and cellaring tasks including the production of wort, its fermentation and conditioning in line with quality control and production targets.
“We have TWO roles available. One to be based at Riverside, Truro and one to be based at the Goodh Brewing site in Indian Queens. There will be a cross-over between the two sites and so there must be flexibility to switch between the sites to meet the needs of the business overall.”
One role is a senior brewer job, based in Truro, while the other is a technical brewer job at Indian Queens.
New owner Louie Simpson told BBC Radio Cornwall that they hope to have the new stock out to pubs within the next month.
It was announced in January that Skinner's had been purchased by a mystery buyer, subject to contract.
It was after the brewery entered administration in September last year, announced in a shock statement on Facebook.
