A man charged with the manslaughter of a Truro market trader has been sent for trial at the crown court by Truro magistrates.
Paul Robert George Lyal-Venables, 35, of Fordh Tobmen, St Agnes appeared at Truro Magistrates Court on March 9.
He is charged with the manslaughter in that it is alleged he unlawfully killed Truro market trader Luke Pocock following an alleged incident outside Railway Workers Social Club, Station Road, Truro on July 2, 2022.
Lyal-Venables' case was sent to Truro Crown Court for trial on April 4.

He was given conditional bail not to contact named witnesses, not to enter Truro City Centre save to attend court hearings and to report to Camborne Police Station between 9am and 5pm each Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Mr Pocock was taken to hospital in a serious condition after an incident outside the Railway Social Club on Station Road in Truro on Saturday, July 2 at around 10.30pm, unfortunately he died on Thursday, July 28.
Mr Pocock ran a gaming and trading stall called Faceless Monkey in Truro's Pannier Market for many years and was also well known as a taxi driver.
