Falmouth has been ranked as the second-best place to live in Cornwall for 2023, according to Muddy Stilettos.
The women's lifestyle website creates a 'best places to live' list each year for England and breaks it down regionally.
The 2023 list was revealed towards the end of 2022 and now after votes from Muddy Stilettos readers, the 10 Cornwall entrants have been ranked.
Falmouth came second in the voter ranking, being pipped to the post by Penzance.

A national winner is set to be revealed on Tuesday, March 28.
What were the 10 best places to live in Cornwall?
The 10 listed entrants for Cornwall were ranked by Muddy Stilettos voters as follows:
1. Penzance
2. Falmouth
3. Wadebridge
4. St Agnes
5. Truro
6. Launceston
7. Fowey
8. Nansledan, Newquay
9. Bude
10. Hayle
In describing Falmouth Muddy Stilettos wrote: "Popular with students and creatives and their families, Falmouth (or Fal to the locals) has a long-standing maritime history and culture.
"The town centres around the world’s third largest natural deep-water harbour and is surrounded by areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty as well as a number of beautiful beaches.
"Falmouth offers coastal living with the benefit of being in a large (for Cornwall) town with amenities, university and period properties – although, as we mention with most coastal places in Cornwall, the nicest options will cost a packet."
How did Falmouth react to the news?
In response to the list ranking Richard Wilcox, Executive Director of Falmouth Business Improvement District (BID) said: “It’s great news that Falmouth has this week, been included in these listings for its many quality-led experiences.
"These recognitions reinforce the proactive town partnerships and sophisticated businesses who continue to think innovatively within such a challenging environment.
"The ongoing investment by our excellent hoteliers and accommodation providers and the wide range of brilliant independent food and drink, retail and coastal lifestyle businesses who have opened here, has in turn, attracted even more creative and entrepreneurial enterprises to our dynamic port town."
