The brother of a young motorcyclist who tragically died in a motorcycle accident on Friday has paid tribute to the ‘most humblest, kindest human’.
Posting on Facebook Mike Charman paid tribute to his “baby brother” Will Charman following his death aged 22 in the accident on Swanpool Road at around 7:10pm on April 28.
He said his and his family's world had been "ripped apart" following the death of an "amazing" brother and son.
“I honestly can’t believe I’m writing this, my baby brother Will Charman the most humblest kindest human, passed away sadly on Friday evening,” he said in the post.
"I’m so proud of this boy at the young age of 22 the amount of lives he had an impact on is incredible, truly the most amazing brother and son in our family.
“Me and Will had so many plans for a our future we had just started working together and it was going so well!
"But now our journey has come to an end and I really don’t know how I’m ‘gunna’ do this without you, my heart is broken, I love you so much little bro’ and I can’t wait to see you again one day. My world has been ripped apart.”
The post led to over 100 people expressing their condolences and sympathy.
They included one from David Saunby organiser of the Martin Jennings Memorial Motorcycle Run, on behalf of the bikers of Cornwall.
It simply said: “Our sincere condolences to the family and friends following this tragic accident.”
Police were called at around 7.10pm to reports of a single-vehicle collision on Swanpool Road in Falmouth.
The rider of a silver Yamaha motorbike, a man in his 20s from Falmouth, was confirmed to have died at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
A force spokesperson said: "Anyone who witnessed the incident or was in the area and may have dash-cam, doorbell or CCTV footage that could assist the investigation, is asked to contact police.
"Please report any relevant information to us via the force website or calling 101 quoting log 809 of 28 April."
