A NEW bakery opened in Truro this week and took the opportunity to showcase products and artworks of local people.

The Cornish Bakery announced yesterday (May 17) that it had opened a new store on the corner of Boscawen Street and Cathedral Lane in Truro on the site of a former bank.

Given its Cornish heritage, the Cornish Bakery has taken the opportunity to use the new store as a means of showcasing products and artworks of makers from across the county.
