Three men were seen acting suspiciously on a farm near Truro this morning (Friday).
Police are urging farmers to be vigilant after three men were seen looking around barns on a farm in the Trispen area.
While the men has disappeared but the time police officers arrived at the farm and nothing appears to have been stolen, at 1.30pm police reminded farmers to be on their guard.
Police community support officer, Richard Hill, said: "Suspicious activity was reported to the police today of three males on farm property in the Trispen area, they were seen to be looking around the farm out buildings, they had gone prior to police arrival.
"Nothing was reported missing or stolen on this occasion but it is a reminder to be vigilant, be on the look out and secure all valuable items and machinery."
Devon and Cornwall Police advise anyone seeing what they consider to be suspicious activity to call 999 if they need suppport right away or 101 if the matter is not as urgent.
