New images have emerged of a car 'parked' in the sea on a beach in Cornwall.
Coastguards welcomed the arrival of 'silly season' over the weekend after a car parked on a beach was slowly being taken by the sea.
St Agnes Coastguard Search and Rescue Team were called out to Trevaunance Beach on Sunday, May 28, after being tasked to ensure the occupants of a BMW that was being submerged by the sea were safe.
The team were called out at around 8:30am after being tasked with ensuring the occupants were safe.
Once this was confirmed, the coastguard team stayed on the scene whilst recovery efforts were made and the vehicle was finally removed.
The images show both how far submerged the vehicle was, as well as the recovery effort.
The team stood down at just before 10:20am and returned to their station.

"We remained on scene whilst recovery efforts were made and the vehicle was finally removed.
"Team stood down and returned to station at 1019hrs.
"‘You can’t park there sir!’"
It was also alleged that beachgoers were urging the occupants out of the car.
