The owner of a florist in Falmouth said she is ‘extremely grateful’ after reaching the finals of this year's Muddy Stiletto's Awards.
Vintage and Bloom are one of five finalists in the running to be crowned the winner of the favourite florist category in this year's awards.
The business was founded and run by Angela James in 2018 who creates floral arrangements for all types of events including weddings, funerals and events and uses locally grown Cornish flowers with eco-friendly packaging using natural brown paper and biodegradable cellophane.
Experienced florist Angela started her career 21 years ago when she started working at Jackie Phillips Florists on the Moore in Falmouth. 16 years later, she made the decision to go self-employed and started Vintage and Bloom.

Angela’s husband John, an ex-gardener, then decided to join the business alongside her and things bloomed from there: “He’s good with installations, hanging archways and flower crowns for brides," Angela said.
“It’s lovely working together.”
With voting closing tonight (Sunday, June 4) Angela tells the Packet what winning would mean to her. She said: “It would be amazing.
“One of the main things that got me about this competition is how many customers and clients have voted for us. It has made me feel incredibly proud.
“We started the business in 2018 but faced a difficult few years during the pandemic when weddings were cancelled.
“However, we have come out the other side and are now building a brand name.
"We appreciate any votes, and thank you for getting us this far."
