A WOMAN who breached a conditional discharge given for trespassing into a railway tunnel and obstructing a train has been punished - with another conditional discharge.
Megan Rachel Louise Gendall, aged 28, of Trenance Road, Camborne appeared at Truro Magistrates’ Court this week charged with a breach of the order made back in March.
She was charged with commissioning further offences whilst the subject of a 12-month order imposed on March 9, 2023 at Truro Magistrates' Court for trespass on a railway property and causing the obstruction of an engine or carriage using the railway.
She admitted the breach when she appeared in court on June 5. There was no adjudication the breach offence as it was dealt with in sentencing for the earlier offences.

She had admitted trespassing in the tunnel in at Roskear Junction Signal Box, Stray Park Road, Camborne on July 5, 2022 namely Network Rail Western contrary to section 55(1) of the British Transport Commission Act 1949 on July 4 last year.
For this offence she was discharged conditionally for 12 months.
For obstructing the railway line by entering the tunnel on the same date she was also given a 12-month conditional discharge.
