A PARK in Cornwall which as seen the addition of a number of facilities including a café and extra public toilets has opened today (June 14).
Boscawen Park in Truro is opening a new café as well as changing room and shower facilities, extra public toilets, and a room for the Truro Loops project.
The café will serve tea, coffee, sandwiches, and cakes and Truro City Council have said they hope to extend the menu over the coming months.
The new facilities are the result of 12 months of work and the city council have also extended their thanks to everyone involved in the project.
In an update posted online this morning, Truro City Council said: "We are very excited to be opening our new café facilities at Boscawen Park from 9.30 am today.
"Along with the café, the facilities include new tennis changing and shower rooms, extra public toilets and a room for the Truro Loops project.
"The project has taken just over 12 months to complete and we would like to thank everyone who has been involved.
"The team at Café in the Park look forward to serving you - with wonderful coffee, tea, cakes and sandwiches available to begin with. We hope to extend the menu in the coming months.
"See you all there very soon!"
