A woman who suffered minor injuries after the car she was in ended up on its roof blocking the A393 at Ponsanooth has said she is 'OK'.
Police were called to the A393 at around 6am this morning following the single car collision on St Michael's Road, Ponsanooth.
The car had overturned and ended up on its roof closing the road in both directions. The ambulance service was called and both occupants were taken to hospital suffering from minor injuries.
The road was originally closed from the Treluswell Roundabout but is now reported as being reopened.
Posting on Facebook, Hannah Louise Dash, Shift Manager at Raze the Roof, Penryn said it was her that was involved in the accident, She said: "It was me. I’m ok. On the way to a&e xx".
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were called at 6.40am today, June 19, following a single-car collision on St Michael’s Road, Ponsanooth. The car overturned and ended up on its roof. Ambulance attended.

Inrix is not now reporting that the road is closed but originally stated: "The A393 in both directions re-opened, traffic returned to normal, serious accident cleared from Speech Lane (Ponsanooth) to A39 (Treluswell Roundabout, Penryn). Previous congestion to the A39 in both directions heading towards the Treluswell Roundabout."
