A biking pensioner from The Lizard has had her "pride and joy" motorbike stolen while on the way back from a fundraising challenge.
Members of the Lizard Football and Social Club are now calling for people to show their support for one of its volunteers by sharing details of the stolen bike.
Mary Dean was on her way back to Cornwall from a motorbike fundraiser trip when her bike was stolen outside a Premier Inn in Newcastle.
Mary, who has been a volunteer at The Lizard and Social Club since it began, was raising money for the club as well as Cornwall Air Ambulance by riding 2,000 miles from The Lizard - the most southerly point in the UK - to the most northerly point, The Shetland Isles just off the coast of Scotland.
The motorcycle had soft toy tigers on it - as a nod to her biker name of 'Tigger' - as well as a money collection box at the back of the bike.
Members of the Lizard Football and Social Club are now appealing for help by asking people to share details far and wide about Mary’s motorbike.
They said: "We reunite our beloved biker friend with her pride and joy."
A post on Facebook reads: “Mary’s motorcycle Suzuki VS800 Registration N889CKM has been stolen outside Premier Inn Washington, Newcastle last night [Monday], with all the camping kit, panniers and her husband’s VERY distinctive rear carrier and pannier frames. They are very distinctive; the rack is completely metal in an L shape.
“Her husband says that if any of the Tiggers (soft toy tigers) are found, please return, they have travelled miles with her, and the sentimental value is huge.
“Please share, far and wide.”
Not only does Mary raise money for charity, and the club she also is a volunteer cook for the football players and the pool team and is a much-loved member of the team.

Tamara from the social club told the Packet how much it would mean to the club if they managed to find her bike. She said: “It would mean the world to all of us and the community knowing Mary’s bike was returned.
“The post has now been shared over 300 times which is amazing and hopefully it will help.”
She added that the bike "means everything to Mary", saying: "She always talks about her motorbike."
