After their most successful year to date in 2022 when they raised £30,000, the Pink Wig team are extremely busy behind the scenes getting ready for this year’s event.
Falmouth’s Pink Wig night is now the largest ladies only night in the area and the team are delighted to once again be the first night of Falmouth Week, Friday August 4.
This year’s theme is a Pyjama Party, and their 2023 design t-shirts bear the slogan “Before you nap, check your baps!” T-shirts will be available to purchase soon.
Sue Morant, publicity officer, said “We were thrilled to be once again starting the pre-parade party at The Greenbank, the staff at the Greenbank have been a great support to our event, especially in 2022.
"Our party night is a celebration of ladies supporting each other, having fun and most importantly raising money for our two chosen charities, Cornwall Breast Care Team and Breast Cancer Now. The more that local business’s support us, the more money we raise, benefitting our charities.”
The pre-parade party will take place at the marquee on Greenbank Quay from 4pm and is once again open to everyone, partners, husbands, parents, friends and children, who are also welcome to stay at the Greenbank to enjoy an evening of live music after the parade has left.
A generous percentage of all drinks and food sold at The Greenbank will be donated to Pink Wig. However, the parade remains ladies only.
