A woman has been arrested and charged with drink driving after an incident involving a parked car in Old Hill, Falmouth last night.
Police say they were called at 11.25pm on Sunday, July 2 after a car was in a collision with a parked car on Old Hill, Falmouth.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson told the Packet that no injuries were reported and one person was arrested.
They added that the road was clear by 12.50am today (Monday, July 3).
An eyewitness told the Packet that around 11.30pm they heard a car coming down Old Hill.
They alleged it collided with one vehicle and then continued onto North Parade, mounting the curb before coming to a standstill.
The witness said five police vehicles attended the scene and a woman was breathalysed, handcuffed and taken away in a police vehicle.
The picture shows the scene 45 minutes after the incident with a recovery vehicle clearing the road.
- Megan Stacey, aged 28, of Mitchell Hill, Truro, has been charged with drink driving. She has been released on bail to appear before Truro Magistrates’ Court on July 18.
