A new study by a wedding invitation company has revealed the UK’s most ‘Instagrammable’ beach wedding venues, with four Cornwall venues making the top ten.
The study by Aura Print analysed 70 of the most sought-after beach wedding destinations in the UK and ranked them based on the number of Instagram hashtags they had.
The Cornish beach coastal wedding venues are as follows:
Lusty Glaze Beach Weddings, Newquay – 10,000 Instagram hashtags.
The most popular location in Cornwall and second most popular in the whole of the UK on Instagram is Lusty Glaze. Tucked away in a secluded private cove, Lusty Glaze has been a wedding venue for various ceremonies for several years.
They provide different types of wedding packages including classic weddings, winter weddings, intimate weddings, and elopement weddings. They also provide wedding menu sampling.
Carbis Bay Hotel, St Ives – 6,000 Instagram hashtags on Instagram.
In the fourth spot in the UK, with more than 6,000 hashtags, is Carbis Bay Hotel. The hotel is set on its own private blue flag beach and provides couples with an ultimate coastal wedding experience including hosting their own barbecues and cocktail parties overlooking the bay.
Polhawn Fort, Rame
The cliff-top fortress has 6,794 Instagram hashtags making it fifth on the list. The fort is set up high on a cliff overlooking the sea, creating the ideal opportunity for photos. The venue is also pet and dog friendly.
Nancarrow Farm, Truro
With more than 5,000 Instagram hashtags, Nancarrow has made it seventh on the list. The converted five barns have been created into venues for weddings and events. Up to 130 guests can be seated on trestle tables and vintage chairs inside the venue.
Other locations which were ranked on the list include Tunnels Beach, Devon in first place (13,427 hashtags), Fairyhill, Swansea (8,299 hashtags), Scarborough Spa Weddings, Scarborough (6,279 hashtags), Nant Gwrtheyrn, Llithfaen Wales (4,523 hashtags), The Roslin Beach Hotel, Essex (3,942 hashtags) and Oldwalls Gower, Swansea (3,858 hashtags).
