One of Falmouth Week's most popular – and colourful – events returned last night.

Falmouth Marching Carnival is a long-held favourite in the Falmouth Week schedule, on the first Saturday of the event.

Activities took place at Falmouth Rugby Club from 3pm, with the parade leaving at 6.30pm.

Spectators were able to get a glimpse of the costumes beforehand, or alternatively grab their spot on the route to see the spectacle pass by.
