Helston’s Methodist church was filled with a colourful array of flowers, crafts and other produce on Saturday for the annual circuit craft and produce show.
This year’s event saw more than 500 entries, which were on display upstairs in the Central Methodist Church.
At 4.30pm it was time for those who had entered exhibits to hear the results of who had won cups, including the coveted most points in show.
This year that trophy went to John Hocking, who also won cups for best eggs and group of eggs.
Others winning more than one cup included Janet Stedman, Josiah Eddy, Rose Diddick, Rev Danny Reed and Everett Tripp.
Rev Danny Reed told everyone e assembled: “A huge thank you for all the effort you have put in making this show a success today.
“Everything has been well thought out, and with lots of detail which can take hours and hours – or four or five goes in the oven!
“I want to say a huge thank you to all.”
He went on to thank Theresa Hosking for taking over all the show administration while he was away – something he described as “not an easy task.”
The show was followed by an auction and pasty supper at 7pm, with all proceeds going to the Christians Against Poverty Debt Centre covering the TR12 and TR13 postcodes.
