NEIGHBOURHOOD Police in Cornwall have responded to an article naming their patch of the North Cornish coast as the safest place in the UK.

Whilst thanking their community, the neighbourhood police beat manager released a photo story showing some of the places he visits in the named postcode area on any given policing day.

According to recent independent research, Boscastle, Lesnewth and St Juliot in North Cornwall, all in the PL35 postcode; are the safest place to live in the country.

Neighbourhood Beat Manager Constable, PC Lee Skinner, said: “I have been working in the Camelford area of PL35 for nearly 4 years now, which includes Boscastle and the surrounding areas. I want to say thank you to the community for their support of the Police and for pulling together to ensure that we live in a safe, fantastic community.
