Faith C achieved a place at Oxford University and Ali A secured a place at Exeter University both to study Medicine. Iris B is pursuing her ambition of becoming a Vet by securing a university place at Royal Veterinary College, London.
Principal Emma Haase said: “These results reflect the hard work of our students whose recent academic years have been frequently disrupted. We are delighted at these outstanding results, which are a testament to their hard work and determination, together with that of our staff who have worked tirelessly to help our students accomplish their very best.
We wish the students every success in their next steps and look forward to seeing how the skills they have gained throughout their school careers further their achievements in the future.”
The VI Form Academy Vice Principal Oliver Kirkbride said: "These are fantastic results, especially considering this is the first set of public examinations these students have completed as their GCSEs were awarded through teacher assessment due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
"Our students have demonstrated their ability to adapt, learn and excel even in the most uncertain times and we look forward to witnessing their continued growth and success in the future."
